Great way to keep an eye on our horses!!

My wife wanted a way to keep an eye on the horses in our gooseneck horse trailer while she was towing the trailer. We tried a similar wireless product a few years ago and it did not work well. A friend of my wife recommended this unit so we purchased one. This unit works great, a clear picture, and the wireless signal strength seems great. Hoping to try a second camera at the license plate to assist with hooking up our boat and flat bed trailer.
Excellent quality at a great price

I purchased this camera because the one that came with my camper had intermittent operation, a poor quality picture, and terrible phone app to use the phone as a display. It was about $250 just to get a dedicated display.
The Rohent camera has an excellent, clear picture and a solid connection from the display to the camera. It's about 40' between the cab of the truck to the camera, and there is no problem keeping connection. The setup was simple, and operation is easy. I'm using it as a backup camera and a rear view while traveling. So far, no problems at all. For this price point, I highly recommend this unit.

I do not have any dislikes about this camera. The install was less then 10 mins. Plugged it into my truck and it instantly connected. The camera very rarely loses signal. Indiana to Florida - I might have lost signal total maybe 10 sec. It really is an excellent purchase.
Great Value, Easy Install, Quality Product

This camera is a great value. If you have priced similar products in the RV stores you probably have found that they cost 4 times the amount of this camera. The instructions stated that if you camper is prewired with a Furion system it would only take 15 minutes to install. That really all it took to install it. All I had to do was unscrew the cover plate, plug in the camera and screw the camera plate on in place of the cover plate. It was easy to pair with the display. My camera and my display are about 45 feet apart and I get a full signal with the connection. I am very satisfied with this product and would reccamend it to anyone looking for a great camera that's easy to install.
A Hidden Gem

The media could not be loaded. If you search for Wireless - two camera - backup on Amazon or elsewhere, you will get items that are atleast $300 and above. At first I did raise my eyebrows at the price point and features. I took a leap of faith after reading reviews, and Im pretty glad I took that decision.
When I installed it, I was not getting any signal and the picture would constantly glitch, just like couple of reviewers here mentioned. After doing a lot of research, few experts on the Q & A and their Support, I decided to keep this.
Whats in the box?
LCD Receiver
Camera
2 Wireless Antennas for receiver and camera
Wire taps
Bolts with Hex key to mount camera
Camera mount
2 different receiver mount
2 Power Extension wires (1 for cigarette lighter, 1 for direct connection to Fuse)
You get so many parts, many I dont even know what to do with it!! The box itself comes well packaged with no chance of damaged during shipping.
Installation
Its fairly simple process and I did a dry run directly to the battery and once confirmed its working, I fixed the camera to the back of my trailer. They give you wire tapping connectors for ease of use. I went old school and peeled the wire off and taped it. I have the camera connected to the DRL wire so its always on during the drive.
The LCD installation is little complex on a pickup truck because you wont get a flat surface on a Nissan Titan. Also the mount is screwed on not clip on. Make sure you dont leave the truck in hot sun if you live down south.
My Rig
We are a food truck and our trailer is about 16ft and then the King cab pickup truck itself is about 18-19ft. Thats almost 40ft.
Our trailer is Aluminium body on the outside. This seems to "absorb" a lot of signal from the camera.
So if you have stock antenna on both camera and receiver, THIS is the main reason why the signal gets absorbed. Hence glitching and blank screen.
Mounting
I mounted the camera on the back above the door and the gas line gets in the way of the stock antenna. This is the perfect place for me to both observe the back door (when parked) and track the cars behind my trailer.
Ofcourse mounting the camera to the stands needed some figuring out, especially with the washers. But it wasnt difficult.
Add-ons
With no line of sight from receiver and camera, and the signal-eating-trailer-body, I had to get an extended antenna(s). I installed on antenna to the receiver and mounted midway on top of the trailer. I got a second antenna and wired it to the top of cab. Now both are in line of sight and I get CRYSTAL clean 4-bar signal!
Why didnt I get a wired set - you might ask: Well I researched high and low and found out its a pain the wrong place to find quick release connectors and wiring it to the back of the truck.
If you are like me, who prefers to get all this done in under an hour, Wired cameras are something you should remove from your options.
Startup:
This is the best part. Just switched on the camera, receiver and kaboom! The picture is on! No tuning, no fiddling around.
Performance
During the daytime, the picture is really good. There were few places within the city, which Im assuming has some strong radio/wireless interference, there were couple of glitch/freeze just for 1-2 seconds. Once I passed those places, the picture was free flowing.
It is as good as Rear View Mirror for your truck.
Night time performance is decent on the road. You can see in my video where I was driving through my neighborhood and it was pitch dark outside.
Summary----
Best Features:
1. For $160 + cost of cheap antennas, this is the BEST on Amazon, eBay or anywhere else. Trust me I have researched for 1 full year.
2. Is it 720p only? The picture clarity is really good. Sometimes you wonder if its full HD!!
3. Night vision is pretty decent! I use my brake lights to illuminate a little more as you can see in the video
4. Guide lines are a welcome addition!
5. Camera Selection!! This is a great feature when you have a 2 camera system. Not only that, you can rotate the camera view, Invert the view, switch to a second camera and so on.
6. Last but not the least, Support. I was gonna return this on the 1st week after install. But the Support person (via email) assisted in getting this working for me, all the while willing to take the item as return, if I was not satisfied.
Improvement Areas:
1. The dashboard mount could be a quick-release clip mount instead of screw-on. Mainly to protect the unit from heat
2. A simple document explaining what each part is for will be such a relief. I dont mind editing one :)
3. I would recommend to the seller that they add the extended antenna to the package itself. And provide 2nd as a "Add-on" to the order.
Would I recommend this?
Definitely yes. Even a $450 wireless camera will suffer glitches if you have a metal body and no-line-of-sight situation. For the quality of build, ease of installation, and really good Customer Support, I will recommend this.
