My mom and I both like to bake, we're not professionals but we're good home bakers. So we know decently the basics of piping and I have seen those new flower cupcakes and got it for Mother's Day so my mom and I could decorate cupcakes together because she loves the flower cupcake style. They weren't perfect because it was our first try but the tips were solid quality! Hand wash for sure before use though they have a residue in them from machinery they were great otherwise. Can't speak on the rest of the stuff because I only used the tips as I had most other stuff already. For the money good value a lot of quality tips.

I'm giving this 4 stars because I got a good price on a lightning deal. At full price I would give it 3 stars.
The set has a good variety of tips, both the standard size (smaller) tips, and the larger Russian tips. I'm excited to try them out but as of this review haven't yet. They look functional, as do the icing bags, so I expect that aspect will work just fine in the hands of a beginner.
Everything came with a silvery-grey (metal) film on it, which will wash off but was still kind of gross. You can see it on the white icing bag collars/couplings and on the useless little "scissors" that were included.
The snips/scissors (whatever they're called) are very cheap-feeling plastic and are warped; they don't meet like they should so no chance to use as intended. I got another pIf off Amazon in another cheap icing tips set that were much better. Similarly, the couplers/collars are cheap plastic so the threads don't match up super well and can be a bit frustrating to put back together. They tend to go on crooked. This was especially true for the triple-color coupler which had excess plastic in the threads which I had to cut out with an xacto knife.
The metal tips are cheaply made too but it won't matter much. Some of the tips look pretty rough; scraped, a little discolored, a few look like maybe some plating as rubbed off. One of the smaller ones was bent. Some have sharp edges around where the design is cut out.
Over all they will be functional and it was a decent deal, but just know you're getting what you pay for here. There are certainly better made tips but these will get the job done.
