Beam cutoff makes great aux driving/fog

Using as fog lights on my highlander. Bright with a nice pure white color temp and horizontal beam cutoff. Won't blind oncoming traffic when adjusted right.

Light unit itself is great. Output is fantastic and the cutoff is perfect. HOWEVER, these did NOT come sealed from the factory. I had to pen them and add silicone adhesive around the edges because they were not even slightly water resistant. Considering the overall quality for the price, I'm OK with this. But just be aware.
These lights really help to illuminate the roadside and foreground.

The media could not be loaded. I use these lights to supplement my driving lights, not for fog. My vehicle is of a vintage with halogen headlights and no auxiliary fog lights or running lights. Adding these lights really helps in-city driving.
The video begins with low beams and fogs. When the fogs are turned off, the roadside disappears. In an attempt to compensate, I switch to high beams. Then, when the fogs come back on, you can really tell how much these lights help to illuminate the foreground and roadside.
I don't have the expertise needed to install things like this, but it wasn't hard to do an internet search and find a company that does. In addition to the cost of the lights, I paid $175 for professional installation.
I selected these lights because they meet SAE J583 standards. Other LED lights are cheaper, but I need to count on the engineering behind the product. For lights like these, it's critical to have a wide beam angle with a sharp horizontal cutoff. Otherwise, the lights can blind oncoming drivers and become a danger to everyone.

I mounted these on the crash bars of my bike to supplement my somewhat lacking head light. The sharp beam cutoff allows use with low beams without shining light in the eyes of on coming drivers, and the wide pattern really lights up the sides of the road. Well worth the money.
