A very complex garment! Probably overkill for most people.

This is a well made vest with a zillion pockets. Each one is different in shape and type of closure. If you wear this every day, you'd learn to use them without thinking about it, but I haven't reached that point yet. I've actually lost important items inside this vest! LOL I wish they made one with fewer, simpler, pockets for people like me who can't devote half their brain power to remembering what you put in each pocket and what you need to do to get it out again.
The fit was a little odd on me. i felt downward pressure where the collar sits at the top of the back or base of the neck. The size was a bit oversize, but that wasn't a problem.

A great addition for travel

I purchase the vest to offload some weight when flying to Europe and back. Last time I was changed $150 for overweight carry-on when TAP airline setup an unexpected trap at the gate weighting all passengers carry on. I usually carry a lot of gadgets for vacation and work so I decided to use the vest. It has a lot of pockets and I was able to stash almost 3 kg into it. And still space left. I found this vest was very handy during travel as well. Each pocket has a zipper so I securely keept passports, hotel cards, rental car keys, cash, phones, spare camera batteries during travel as well. Walking around the city I don't need a backpack at all. The vest even has a bottle holder inside a pocket. Also I like the small details they make like lens cleaner cloth for glasses attached and a key ring lock inside a pocket.
Wearing the vest is fine if weather is not hot or day is cloudy. I was not able to wear this under direct sunlight on a hot day. It means it works only for airports if travel in the summer but has more utility in spring or autumn. Overall I am happy with the purchase and will wear it on my next trip.

My husband loves this classy looking vest for holding his car fob, glasses, Kleenex, wallet, pen and so much more. He's no longer searching for stuff since he just keeps it in his vest. And, it looks so nice on him.
Good quality

Being my first time abroad and despite it being to Switzerland and Germany, I was paranoid about my passport being taken. Depending on what I was doing that day I would keep the vest on me at all times zipped. My passport not really in the "slot" it's "supposed to be" in but in the larger pocket on my left lower. It is a deeper pocket.
Other gee that's useful moments:
1. There are two zippers on the chest area, I put useless but memorable receipts and small ticket stubs which I didn't empty out until getting home to add to a journal.
2. The back like where your back is, has a large square like zipper and it's awkward to get to and you can smoosh smash whatever you put in there, but it was nice to have. I think I put a spare food granola bar?
3. The inner pockets when you get it, you can see, but they are hold water bottles (though it is uncomfortable and weighs it down weird---and snack bags! Surprisingly. I had my hands full and no space in my carry on at the airport and we were boarding so I pushed them in there and it held. I am talking the plastic larger goldfish crackers bag not the typical rectangle one. Useful.
4. The regular pockets you know like in a hoodie area. Those are awesome. They have "2 zones" each separated by a zipper / there's also magnets. It's really neat when you actually test it out. I kept ear buds and sanitizer on one side. I kept the left side for important stuff or empty like admission tickets.
5. I even used the built in lens/phone wipe thing that is attached to a loop thing once, which is a feature shown in their videos but I thought I wouldn't use it.
I had been wanting a ScotteVest for a long time actually, but didn't or couldn't justify buying it due to cost until my trip. Worth it. It really really is. In my experience the zippers are good quality. I am female and bought the men's for comfort. The women's version looks fitted and it didn't seem the best to hold things, for myself because I know myself.
Wish there were better colors, but hey not like I would buy another one for myself since I already have one.
