I love this little toy. I bought it for my 16 month old! It opens and you are able to store the pegs inside of the toy which makes for good storage. It is great for working on hand eye coordination and for learning colors! Will def buy for birthday party gifts in the future!

I bought this for my 19 month old granddaughter. However, my 4 year old grandson got ahold of it, put the peg "quills" in their slots, turned it over and uses it to shoot the "quills." Fortunately, the "quills" are soft and don't shoot very far. They provide lots of entertainment for him.
Whenever my granddaughter does find it, the toy with be excellent for hand eye coordination.
The colors are bright and it is of good quality.

This little hedgehog has it all! My one-year-old is able to take out and put in all of the pieces on his own while refining his grasping skills. We are having fun learning colors, counting and following directions while playing with this toy. As he gets older we will also be able to incorporate number identification.
