Took a picture of the old one's wiring, pulled it off, put the same wires into the same letters on this one and the wiring was done. The only thing that made this not be a 10 minute job is that this one isn't as wide so I had to patch a little 1/4" hole in the wall from the last one. Simple to operate and simple to set the temperature swing. My old one only did plus and minus one full degree. I don't know about anyone else but here we can really feel that two degree swing. Preliminarily, we're setting this one's swing to plus and minus a half a degree. From there, we'll test and see what swing we feel most comfortable with. I'd have zero problem recommending this to someone.

I used this unit to replace a stock thermostat on a 2008 Viking Pop Up Camper. Simple 2 wire connection.

I never heard of the brand but got home at 1 am and my old carrier tstat was broken, tried to fix it for about half hour to no avail. did a quick amazon search and liked this model for its simplicity and clean look. I don't like all that fancy programmable stuff. placed the order around 2 am and with my Prime service it arrived a few hours later at 8 am. unbelievable. i had already removed the old one and the instructions were very easy. took about 10 minutes and AC was up and running. I like the large display which shows set temp and actual temp at same time. no need to push buttons, and the temp control is super easy up or down. Highly recommend and would definitely order again if ever needed.

The thermostat works great, but it does go through two triple AAs every 2-3 weeks when in use. I have rechargeables so no big deal, but it can be a bit tiresome.

The first one I installed was so easy I had to buy another one. I'm thinking about getting one more.
