I wish that there was a battery backup for this pump. I've purchased two of them for a DIY fountain. I like how much water these pumps move.

Set this up to pump water for our bird bath. I am happy that I went for the 10 watt unit which is just enough pump action when the sun is shining.
Works great when the sun shines but stops at the slightest shade. I am considering setting up a 300 watt solar power system for the back yard which would eliminate, for the most part, the lack of sun issue and use back up battery storage. Still this works for the remote location of our bird bath.

Works as advertised. Does a good job with good output in full sunlight. A cloud passes over and the water flow stops. No complaint, it is what it is.
Do not waste your time.

Started off good, good response to full sunlight. 2 days of running and Kaput, she no run. Cleaned motor and pump, a the filter bag on the pump, checked the tubing, full sun and still no running or pumping. Not worth the time or money. Recieved my refund ( Big thanks Amazon). Invested in a better rated and more expensive kit, we shall see.
