I received the pants and love the feel of the fabric but the color is really faded. They look like they've been washed a few times. They shouldn't advertise them as "Red"

I am 5' 4" average weight woman and I'm obsessed with these pants. I usually wear a size small but ordered an x-small since these are men's. The length ends in the middle of my calves so they're not too long thankfully. The waist is elastic and they're obviously baggy which I love. I like to slip these on over my pajama shorts when I need to run out for a quick errand. The only negative to them is the fabric feels really cheap. They're SO comfortable though! I ordered black and am not into the hippie/plaid patterns or embroidery, but I want to buy more in other colors, please make more x-small in solid colors like red, yellow, blue, green, purple, etc!

I got a pair size L, im a 33 by 32 195 lbs 6foot and they fit perfectly. Liked them so much I bought anothe pair in blue same day

Perfect summer pants for a heavy, apple-shaped woman. They should be sold as unisex. I wear size 3x.

These (the original medium-weight cotton ones), actually have 4 pockets - 2 side pockets as well as those funky back ones. If you're a female, you know how hard decent pockets are to find. I love the cut of these and hoe they taper in at the bottom. It keeps them from looking baggy even though they are loose and comfortable. Nice, medium-weight material, although I wouldn't mind a lighter weight for the summer. Still they seem pretty cool. Had the delivered last night and I just bought 2 more pairs.

It's a year later, 2021, and I'm still living in these pants in the warm weather. As a plus, they have now come out with colors in a light-weight material that I've been hoping for. They are listed as "˜Color'-75 when you choose the color selection pics, and you can see from the pic with the model's leg lifted, that the light can be seen through the material. They are similar to what I call "˜crinkle-cotton". Very lightweight, not quite see-through cotton. These don't have the flap back pockets, which is fine, since I don't use them very much, and their absence removes a potential weak point [see below].

The only drawback I have found with these pants is that even the medium-weight cotton version can tear pretty easily - like when my cat puts his front feet on my thigh and his claws catch when he pulls away, or when the flappy pockets get a little hung up when squeezing sideways through a tight space on an airplane. This has happened, but not so easily or frequently that I would even remove a star. At ~$25/pair, I can live with this and just replace any that wear out. They removed those back pockets from the lightweight material styles which helps with the tendency to tear there.

My biggest complaint is that these light-weight styles are not eligible for free shipping through Prime, the way some of the other colors are. The shipping fee ends up being nearly 50% of the base price, which is a lot.
2022 update - I just bought another 6 prs of the lightweight styles for an upcoming trip to Africa, and for the rest of the summer, since I basically live in them in the hot weather. I contacted the seller about the shipping costs that were initially applied to each pair. They were able to give me a much-reduced bulk shipping rate. Nice to know that they are responsive to requests. Did I say I love these pants?
One more request - please be sure that the front pockets stay wide enough to hold an iPhone horizontally, so it doesn't dig in when one bends over.

I own several pairs of the same pant (black, with red/orange Koi fish, on the left front). The material had a nice quality thickness, without being heavy. Good front pockets, a drawstring tie in the front, combined with an elastic waistband. The pockets in the back, are OPPOSITE than other pants ... they hang on the outside of the pants. No big deal, but it looks a bit 'different'. But then again, the whole concept of these pants, is a bit different, especially for guys. But I also wear most of my shorts, with my shirt untucked, so the back pockets are hardly ever seen. I also wear sandals all the time, so these look cool, with that type of look. I don't think I'd pair them up with sneakers, as that 'look' might not look right (just my opinion. YMMV). The reason I chose this style, out of all the colors they offered, was due to being a really dark black, and the brightly colored Koi fish on the front. The fish is a very nice quality, embroidery, not expected on a $20-$25 pair of pants. I was impressed.

The bottoms hit me about 1/2 way up my calf. I'm 5'9", with a 35"-36" waist. I settled on the Medium size, after starting off with a Small (I know, crazy sizing). If you have really big calves, the bottoms might not fit you well. Pay attention to sizing.

At first, I thought these might look kind of weird, on a guy. But then I realized, paired up with the right combo of shirt and footwear, it could actually look good. Kind of a 'beach-type look'. But for some guys, they might not have the confidence 'to rock it'. It works well for me, and it's a change of pace from my normal 'shorts and sandals' routine.

Also, keep an eye on the sizes and pricing. There was a small difference between the price on the Small and Medium. Some weeks the Small sold for around $20, and NO shipping cost (with a Prime account). Other weeks, it would be around $26, plus $12.95 for the SAME pair. So be patient, and wait till the price stays low.
