I am a librarian and a school. Every morning, and every afternoon I have outdoor duty. Living in Connecticut the weather can be awful in the transition from summer to fall. We've had a lot of rain and wind and just raw conditions. I ordered this raincoat because I was tired of feeling chilled to the bone after my morning duty and I dreaded going to my afternoon duty. This coat is stylish, well-made, and comfortable. It also keeps out the rain and helps block the wind. I will probably never have to buy another raincoat!

I received my rain coat today, and the material is what I expected, but softer and nicer. First of all, it fit just right. It is comfortable around the chest area, the sleeves are large enough that I can bend my arm comfortably, without feeling that it will burst at the seams, the length is just right for me ( my previous rain coats were either too long or too short. I am 5'5" and the length is mid-thigh covering my butt. It is not bulky, and even though I am on the heavier side, it doesn't make me look fat ( okay, fine! It doesn't make me look fatter than I actually am!). Overall great quality, great look, great feel, and it fits me perfectly. The pink color is very pretty, and I am truly happy with this purchase .

I haven't had a raincoat that I liked in years. We're going on a trip, and I need to be able to layer for unpredictable weather, including (probably!) rain. This coat is perfect. It has a hood that doesn't fall down over my eyes, but will cover my head. It buttons down the front, and zips, so I don't have to hassle with zipping up from the bottom if I need the coat closed. The pockets have a flap, so anything inside won't get soaked. It has vent holes under the arms. The lining is beautiful, the striped hood and sleeves are a great contrast to the coat, and the nylon lining in the body is slippery enough not to catch on what I'm wearing like a jersey knit would. The fit is perfect, big enough to layer under, but not huge. It hangs nicely - not so stiff that it juts out, not so shapeless that it clings. It is absolutely perfect. The only thing that hasn't been tested yet is how it handles actual rain.
