Lose Weight, Poop Orange Oil
Tina✓ Verified Purchase•April 15, 2018
I'm giving these a 4 star review because while they help you lose weight (which is awesome) they also have some embarrassing side effects.
**gross and graphic review **
Okay, pro's are that you lose weight from taking a little easy to swallow pills and it works without makes your heart rate increase or the gitters.
Cons!!! :-)
You basically poop orange oil. If you eat foods with a lot of fat Alli prevents your body from aborbing that fat and it exits your body through your bum in the form of diarrhea or orange oil. This at times is not controllable. You will have to excuse yourself to the bathroom at random times. Don't even think about farting! You will end up changing your underwear. Invest is flushable wipes because its oil and sticks to your skin, you'll need to wipe much better. And keep the toilet bowl cleaner close by because the orange ring around the toilet is both gross and embarrassing.
But if you can get past that...it's an effective weightloss pill.

I read tons of reviews before purchasing these pills, to me the good seemed to outweigh the bad so I went for it.
Let me start by saying this. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO CHANGE YOUR DIET AND LIFESTYLE, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE PILLS!!
Most of the negative reviews I read were all related to the "diet related side effects" but the package CLEARLY states that if you eat high fat food this will happen. (pulled this quote directly from the website)
"Eating a meal with too much fat, particularly when you first start taking alli®, may result in bowel movement changes such as oily spotting, loose stools, and more frequent stools that may be hard to control. By following the recommended reduced-calorie, low-fat diet, you can minimize the likelihood of experiencing these GI side effects"
Following directions is KEY. If you think you can eat cheeseburgers and pizza all day, pop this pill and lose weight, all you are gonna lose is tons of toilet paper.
With that said, I simply love these pills. I have been on a low fat diet for months but have some stubborn fat that I wanted to get rid of. I also exercise about 3 times a week, nothing major, just walking. At first I didn't think these pills were working because I was expecting to have oil leaking from my butt based on some reviews I have read. I had none of that. I then decided to eat something high in fat just to test it out. I didn't have any oily farts or uncontrollable poop. What happened was when I did go to the bathroom the toilet was filled with oil lol. I wasn't running to the bathroom, I just went like normal.
So for me, these pills are DEFINITELY helping me lose weight. I know when I have eaten even slightly over my fat allowance because of the tell-tell oil when I use the bathroom.
If you are serious about eating healthy and losing weight the right way but just need a little help, these are for you. Please ignore all the negative comments about oily underwear and farts--it does NOT happen if you eat like you are supposed to. And I am not sure about a old formula versus a new one because this is my first time taking them, all I know is they work for me.
This is my 2 cents. Hope it helps and thanks for reading.

These are fraudulent pills. I am a nurse practitioner and have been taking orlistat for years. The authentic pills make your stools soft and oily. These do not do that. At one time Alli was taken off the market. These pills are dated 2015 and are not the real medication. Please have them tested. You should immediately stop selling them and I would like a refund.
