I have three Ryobi 18V batteries that all stopped working at the same time. Of this happened right when I needed them for a project. I went to Home Depot to buy replacements and a two-pack of the 4.0Ah batteries were $99.00 I thought that was too expensive so I decided to look into aftermarket ones. After a little research I found these Turpow's with the same 4.0Ah for $34.00 ea. so I bought two of them. I received them within two days, charged them and used them to complete my project. The battery worked great and held it's charge as well as the original ones did. Time will tell but so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

The OEM Ryobi P102 in my sprayer tool died after one use brand new. If you search on YouTube on how to revive a dead lithium ion battery, you will see this model come up a lot, in particular. Apparently the microchip design of this battery allows the battery to drain past the recharge/recovery phase before the tool shuts down so the battery is unable to be recharged. This non OEM battery has more capacity than the OEM and has so far performed much better and the original. I have had the chance to completely discharge the battery to see if the same issue exists but will update my review once I do.

I'll often grab my Ryobi tools to go off to some part of my ranch to do some odd jobs, and I'll grab a couple batteries for my One+ Ryobi tools, only to discover that a "spare battery" wasn't charged. I try to keep them "in rotation" - drained ones ready to be charged, charged ones ready to be used, but sometimes they get mixed up.
Momentarily pushing the button next to the row of green LEDs lets you know instantly if that battery is charged up and ready to go!
The only downside - they're a bit bigger (and, of course more powerful) than the standard batteries I've been using, so it's a little harder to wrap my hand around to get my thumb and middle finger on the "release buttons" to take it out of the charger or disconnect it from the tool. Maybe if I didn't have arthritis in my hand it would be a lot easier - but it's worth it for the extra power, and the convenience of the LED "charge" indicator!

This is a great battery! It lasts so long and tells you how much battery power is left!I haven't had any issues with it. It is slightly harder to remove the battery especially when you're hands are tired but other than that it's great!
