I bought three of these pens, two for graduation presents and one for myself. I recently ran into one of the graduates and was told that her pen was unusable as the cartridges bought to accompany the gift did not fit. These cartridges are marked "fit all Monaggio's Fountain Pens" and when filled by other methods, it leaks when attempting to write. The pen I kept myself has worked beautifully when filling from ink bottle (the cartridges do not fit this one either). My window for return is expired and I am hesitant to buy another one. I am unsure about the 3rd gifted pen, but I am embarrassed that the ink cartridges will not fit this one either. Company needs better consistency and better advertising for ink cartridge sizing. I feel that I only got 30% of my money's worth.

A lesson I learned is to never cheap out on a good fountain pen and the price for this pen is spot on. Of course there are always pens that are more pricey, which could mean higher quality, but even if you are new to fountain pens, this would make for a fantastic start. I would even propose this as being a wonderful gift to anyone. This pen writes so smoothly and the ink flows so wonderfully well. I've never had a problem with the ink leaking so far, but if it starts to, I'll update the review. I would definitely by this fountain pen again. I would even go far as to recommend this pen to be your traveling companion; The quality of this pen just blows my mind. Thanks Monaggio for crafting such a wonderful fountain pen.

My very favourite fountain pen, I use it daily at work and carry it in my purse. Writes smoothly and the nib is just the perfect size, I would say somewhere between medium to fine which makes the lines refined with each stroke. Glides beautifully and super smoothly. Bamboo wood makes an elegant and somewhat unique impression.

I bought two sets of Monaggio ink cartridges with it (they are international standard size) and my video attached shows how I used them with the pen.

I love this brand and also use their dry erase markers to make notes on my fridge calendar and keep track on my to-do lists, they come with 4 or 13 different colours, thought it might be helpful.

I enjoy using a fountain pen for the ease of writing, no pressure needed and I have a natural pen stroke that I have often been complimented on my scrivnery. This pen is beautiful for its bamboo and accented nib. The case is a nice bonus. It is attractive and well made.

Very nice pen and elegant looking. Comfortable to hold, and a good weight in the hand. I ordered the recommended box of ink cartridges and it was a snap to put them in and start using the pen.
