This is my first dehydrator, I really missing my mom make beef jerky and fruit.so I learning make it.Today I decided to make dehydrated bananas slices ,apple slices and potatoes slices.it worked very well.the food was so yummmmmm.......,healthy and clean make by self. I chop each bit into about one quarter of an inch wide and thick,takes about 18 hours for the to get dried till done.it doesn't get hot to burn a counter top.next time will be try jerky, it is easy for cleaning.so far I am happy with my purchase,overall this dehydrator was excellent.
