This is my second order of these umbrellas. I have two but found myself trying to determine which foods would get protection so I bought this 6-pack. What I like is that these last and last. If you get food on them, just rinse in a little cool water; dunk in warm soapy water; open and let dry. All 6 will fit in a small space when closed. Simple umbrella mechanism so there is really nothing to malfunction.

I ordered these in hope to use them in the garden to cover lettuce, spinach, and tomato plants after transplanting them into the garden. They look like they will be perfect. They have a little bit of lace on the bottom, so the anchors will slip thru.

A friend used these at a recent picnic and now that I am gardening--it is an inexpensive way to keep birds away from my young strawberry plants. Birds also like to eat the beans off the green bean sprouts which often kills them. Not this season boys!
