Perfect for ps4 4k gaming & 1080p recording!
Art Munoz✓ Verified Purchase•August 24, 2018
I was searching high and low for a way to game in 4k while still being able to record gameplay on my HD60. When I bought a 4k monitor, I didn't know the HD60 wouldn't be able to record. And I wasn't about to spend $300 plus on a 4k capture card. Enter this awesome product. After doing research, I came across this splitter. The great reviews swayed me to get it, and I do no regret it. The set-up took me about 20 minutes because I wasn't sure how to set the cable's, but it's easy. I can now play in 4k goodness and record that gameplay in 1080 on my HD60. Here's the set up for ps4 pro:
HDCP should be off in settings menu.
HDMI cable from PS4 to "HDMI IN" on splitter.
4k HDMI cable from 4k monitor to "HDMI 1" on splitter.
HDMI cable from "IN" of HD60 to "HDMI 2" on splitter.
HDMI cable from "OUT" of HD60 to "HDMI 3" on splitter.
Game on!

4K 60Hz HDR DeepColor Ambilight for PS4 PRO
Amazon Kunde✓ Verified Purchase•July 23, 2018
My project: Ambilight for PS4 PRO
My problem: A splitter with 4K HDR DeepColor + a signal to a 4K TV (Samsung) and at the same time to a 1080p HDMI -> AV Converter
The solution, this splitter of gofanco!
I searched all over the internet for splitter / EDID emulators and came across this splitter. This allowed me to solve my problem without buying an expensive HDFury. Now, despite the AV Converter I get a 4K 60Hz HDR signal to my SamsungTV and can therefore use a home-built Ambilight.
So if you want a 4K HDR Ambilight this splitter is just right for this price.
I'm from Germany and was glad that the splitter was also delivered to me, not like many other dealers from the US.
Even the shipping was not so long, initially a delivery of 2 1/2 weeks and then the splitter was suddenly arrived after only 9 days. [Delivery by DPD to Germany]

XBOX ONE X USERS must uncheck "Allow YCC 4:2:2" - PS4 PRO USERS must uncheck "Allow HDCP"
T. Rogers✓ Verified Purchase•July 14, 2018
If you are trying to stream with an Elgato HD60s while gaming in 4K HDR via Xbox One X, you must make sure "Allow YCC 4:2:2" is NOT checked in the Xbox video output settings. All the dip switches should be in the up position and your 4K TV should be connected to Output 1; the Elgato on Output 2.
If you have that "allow 4:2:2" box checked, the Xbox will either automatically revert to non-HDR 4K signal each time you start an HDR game, or it will correctly pass the 4K HDR signal to the 4K TV, but the Elgato or other 1080p device/TV will receive no video (depends on methodology of setup which you will experience).
PS4 PRO USERS must uncheck "Allow HDCP" from their System settings for the splitter/scaler to function as desired for Elgato streaming.
Another note; the customer service for this product exceeded excellence. Emails were responded to within just a few hours and their tech even offered his cell phone number to help me after-hours troubleshoot my initial issues with getting the HDR to work while downscaling for Elgato. Bravo gofanco!

Excellent 4K/HDR Splitter for El Gato H60(S) - PS4 Pro & Xbox One X

Two things I have to say right away: (1.) The gofanco Prophecy is an excellent product and (2.)Customer Service is super helpful. I emailed them for stock replenishment and received an email right away. I was able to grab one a few days later. At the time of this review, I saw these starting to show up on ebay at inflated costs. Grab them here while you can.
Like other reviews say, this is THE Splitter to get if you are using it with the El Gato HD60(S) for recording/streaming using the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Place the EDID switches to: Pin1 (UP) and Pins 2,3,4 (DOWN) for the El Gato to display properly on the PC @ 1080p 60hz and for the consoles to be viewed in 4k/HDR on your TV. Be sure to go into the settings mode for each console and check that it is displaying 4k w/ HDR. I did not have to use any other splitters like another review mentioned (perhaps because I am using the El Gato HD60S and not the HD60 ?).
Also the ibirdie HDMI 4K Ultra HD 2.0 Cables are perfect to use with this product, PS4 Pro + Xbox One X. No signal lost.

Great for the Elgato HD 60 4K HDR pass through problem

Finally! If you have a X Box One X or PlayStation 4 pro get this Splitter! I bought a few splitters that let 4K through but not HDR 10 or non at all even though they said they did. As you can see from the pictures I got all the check marks even after the new update to the X box software. I did this to connect my x box one x to the tv for full 4K hdr video and connect the other HDMI to my a/v receiver for sound plus the Elgato connection. The Elgato HD 60s still gets audio and video even after the receiver so all my devices/consoles can get surround sound and be connected to the Elgato. Make sure you have HDMI 2.0 cables for the 4K connections.
