4 stars because I'm not wild about the clasps: Since the rubber part doesn't have any kind of bow or ribbon stitched into it, the only thing keeping it in place is the way it's threaded through a slot on the metal part, making the rubber part much more prone to falling off and being misplaced than some cheaper belts I own. (Thankfully, if you somehow lose one for good, it seems like you could take the rubber piece from a strap on pretty much any other garter belt as a replacement).
