My son is autistic so I have to be aware of textures and how complicated something is. I got this coat because I needed to finally replace his last coat. I wanted something to be more waterproof than his last one and keep him fairly warm on a rainy day. He was hesitate at first because it was something different but he seems to like it now. I got it bigger because he seems to be having more growth spurts than usual. (we just hit the teenage years)

I have to say its very well made, I'm completely confident that I will stay dry in a heavy rain with this jacket. It fit me as expected, I'm almost a 300 lb guy and 6,3" tall and is comfortable. I do wish they would have other color but I'm pretty happy with it.
