the hood can be hidden away in collar. Like it best is the under arm zipper feature to regulate the body temperature when you want to. It is like a standard feature in more expensive skiing jacket. The full front zipper is bi-directional. another feature i treasure. to me, it is an excellent substitute for a more expensive skiing jacket.

Good modern fit, not too baggy - I'm 6'2" / 215lbs / athletic and L fits perfectly (I also ordered XL after reading some reviews suggesting that this runs small but it was too baggy for my taste). I'm just an acft maintainer, but at 34 degrees while it's raining hard, it held up pretty well. I'm not sure how good it would be for something like snow, but it kept me warm in the rain for sure. A few coworkers asked what it was and now theres a bunch of us nerds running around with it, if thats worth anything. Only downside I can think of is that it stains easily from oil but IMO, it's meant to be used so I don't mind. I'd recommend it for sure.
