This fits well and provides the necessary support. The cooling feature seems to work pretty well. The latch mechanism works well. The material is extremely soft and smooth making it very comfortable. I travel a lot on long flights and I really need good support since I have major issues with herniated disks in my neck. I finished two twelve hour flights last week and this pillow worked better than anything I have tried before. The case is nice and keeps the pillow nice and clean while being transported.
My only complaint is that it is a bit bulky. But, I can't see how you can make it pack up smaller without making it inflatable. The memory foam is a key part of this system so it is just going to be a bit big. I does attach easily to the outside of a backpack with the included case and it does actually fit inside my laptop backpack so it's still acceptable.

If I could leave no stars I would. This is the one of the worst products I've purchased in any category. I bought 2 of these from Amazon and 1 from Target to see if my suspicions were correct. When I received the two pillows from Amazon, I felt like the foam density was lacking or something was off, so I ordered a second one, which had the same feel. My suspicion grew, so I went to Target and bought another pillow which confirmed my gut feeling.
The foam in these Cabeau Evolution Cool pillows bought from Amazon are all less than those bought in store. (See images) The foam is weak, flimsy and has almost no support.
The 2nd issue is getting the cover back over the foam insert after you take it off. It's truly impossible. I know they have demonstration videos on YouTube, but the videos are unhelpful and unrealistic. It is truly impossible to get these back on the pillow.
Do not buy this product.

I hate giving this thing 5 stars because it is just so ridiculously priced. I wish I would have bought it before I bought 2 other travel pillows though. I travel a lot and have tried a couple other styles. On planes the issue always is, too much cushion in the back and the pillow doesn't really support the neck. To sleep on a plane sitting up your neck needs to be supported straight up. This pillow does just that. I even love using it in hotel beds while watching TV or the iPad. Another great feature is that it has small cut outs around the ears for over the ear headphones. If you aren't in a hurry, use a bed bath and beyond 20% coupon to buy it a little cheaper.

I am part of cabin crew and have gone through my fair share of neck pillows. Behind heavy curtains I've encountered the issue of waking up due to being hot and a sweaty neck numerous times. This product is amazing and does what it says,... KEEPS YOU COOL! Also I've always preferred window seats so I can get more comfortable and I can get just as comfortable in the aisle now. How could I survive so long without this?
THE ONLY CON I've noticed but I can certainly live with is that the pillow even rolled up and put I to it's pouch is quite bulky. I've compared it sizewise to about 4 soda cans.

Unfortunately this latest cabeau product is a disappointment I'm a big fan of the original cabeau neck pillow and I've owned a few of them already but the original neck pillow is very uncomfortable because it retains the Heat around your neck and so I decided to purchase this newer version. The new one though is much less supportive, thinner and half as robust as the older one. In addition there are two magnets in the closing mechanism and one of them keeps on coming out which means in order for this to operate properly I'm going to have to glue it in. I fly overseas often and meanwhile there is no neck pillow out there that is 100% satisfactory
