The light part died 6 weeks after I got it, too late to return it.

It was plugged into a surge protector, so I am sure that it did not short out. The on/off switch light still works. Everything else still plugged into the same surge protector still works. When it worked, it caught a few mosquitoes, less than half that circled around my office.

DID NOT catch a single bug. Great night light though. Not being using and will probably be donated. Wish I saved the box.

I bought his because I was traveling overseas and I needed something that would combat mosquitoes while I slept. It worked the first night although I still got a few bites. After the first night, I guess the bulb burnt out so now I have bites all over my body.

The good thing is that the light is bright enough to attract insects, it trapped bigger flies but the tiny fruit flies have not yet been attracted to this, used it just 2 days so far, hope that changes. Also the wire is short and wished this could be a cord free design.
So it is useless now. I see no replacement bulbs available either

A few days after the return window ended the lifetime of the UV bulb also ended. So it is useless now. I see no replacement bulbs available either. When it worked, it worked fine as it zapped many mosquitos and flies and we were thrilled about that. Kind of disappointing.
