Not if you're looking for real brown noise

We wanted to use this to sooth our dog during thunderstorms. This works great when linking our Oontz Angle 3 Ultra with a phone, running the White Noise app (but set to brown noise). The bass noises drown out the rumbling from thunderstorms. But tedious to link the phone and the speaker every time. So we are looking for a stand-alone (brown) noise maker. This one isn't up to the task due to insufficient bass.

I purchased this for sleep and particularly like the fact that it can run on batteries and I can move it from room to room. I have only had it a short time, but have found that the music selections are so soothing and refreshing that I have it on most of the day. I am retired and am currently studying a new language and I also find the soothing sound very helpful for concentration and focus. Basically I have had it on most of the time since I opened the box!

I love the design of this white noise machine, and the portability is great. My baby sleeps through the night, so it must be doing something right! My only complaint is about the meditation sounds; I don't really feel like that those are relaxing and I would prefer some alternative sounds instead of 3 options being different levels of white noise loudness. Otherwise, good product!
