This worked really well for awhile and still does to an extent but after a week of using it the braid came apart since there is nothing holding it in place and with such soft and smooth fabric making up the strings of the braid it doesn't hold itself well so every day I have to re braid it and it doesn't protect like a bumper when it's apart. If the manufactorer would pop a few stitches on each end to ensure it wouldn't come apart that would be so useful, otherwise do a few yourself and it should be good to go.

It's cute. Smaller then I thought, ordered 2 meter to try it out. Covers half the crib okay length wise, width is kind of small for my 1 year old crazy sleeper, still bumps his head at times..... 4meter for standard crib would be nice , cheaper then other brands. Best for a new born maybe? but toddlers will most likely pull on it and or distort it, it's somewhat delicate did not take much to bust the little string holing the ends together, which I did trying to fluff it up.

I ordered the 4 meter length. It fits the standard crib perfectly. Unlike other reviews I did not have any problems with the bumper coming apart. It's sewn at each end so that it can't happen. The material is soft slightly stretchy and a true pink color. Good quality. No odors either. It came wrapped in a plastic bag and any residual odor from that dissipated fairly quickly. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It was exactly what I expected.
