This was a great buy. Had an old LiftMaster door opener that finally died after 10 to 15 years.
I don't normally write reviews, however, I wanted to on this one! It was a direct replacement for the older unit. All that was necessary was to un-bolt the other opener drive and bolt this on in its place, program the door up and down limits and that was it. The old sensors that were already installed work perfectly with this new unit. I did replace the outdoor keypad because this one comes with a new one. Also replaced the inside door control because the old one was also on its last legs...
If you're looking for a replacement opener, order this one in confidence. I liked it so well that I just ordered another to replace one on one of our other garage doors.

I replaced a 17 year old Liftmaster. The booklet that comes with it provides the necessary setup instructions. I can't get the wall door opener learn button to work. So, I use the unit. Not a deal breaker for me. Like many others said, don't use LED bulbs. I did initially because I had them in my other unit. My remotes would not close the door with LED bulbs in the new unit. Shipping was very fast and the unit came several days earlier than expected.

I replaced a 20 year old Liftmaster and this one went in very easily, as I stood by and watched the professional garage door guy on the ladder. Easy fit, did have to use all new parts including wall control and new controllers, easily programmed the bluetooth control in my car.

I changed the box only from a1996 model liftmaster to a model 83650w liftmaster! I didn't have to change the old sensors ! I fallow the instructions and I can open my garage door with my car ;with the entry keypad on the side of the garage door (the is included) ; 2 hand remote controls (included also) and from the wall inside the garage (also included).easy to install; the iinstructions are easy to follow, like they trying to explain to a kid! I'm a full hairdresser salon owner not a electrician .
