Great for Guinea Pig Burial

We bought this product for burial of our son's guinea pig Freddi. It was a sad time for us but this product helped to make the process a little easier. Pet cremation can be very costly and this product helped alleviate that as well as provide closure for my children to say good bye to their pet.
We bought size medium just to be safe but a full grown, adult guinea pig could easily still fit in a size small. After putting him in the little cocoon we could see, he still had plenty of space. It came with a nice white cloth and biodegradable flower garland to wrap him in prior to placing him into the cocoon. Once we put him in the cocoon it helped us to conceal the body so that our children didn't have to see their pet but know that he was in there. It also provided a resting spot for the kids to go visit.
The product was very good quality! We were very impressed with it over all. It helped us say goodbye to our son's pet in a humane and cost effective way. The fact that it's biodegradable is a plus and doesn't contribute to burying waste.

I purchased this a few months ago in preparation when my hamster passes away. Well, the time came and Murray passed away a few days ago. I finally opened the package revealing this adorable kit that brought me to tears. Losing a pet is never easy but this goodbye kit was so helpful in sending my hamster off to his new adventure. Everything is thought out from the garland you wrap around your pet to the wooden heart to remember them by. The small size cloud was too big for my Syrian hamster but still better than a shoebox. Highly recommend getting this kit.

Beautiful send off, naturally comes with a ceremony and it helped my family and young children say goodbye. The book comes with some poems on saying goodbye and talks about the kit and what makes it special. My 6 year old daughter found this to be really helpful and I felt like she got comfort from it. Saying goodbye to our almost 20 year old cat was almost unbearable, but it was comforting to be able to place her in this little cocoon for her final resting place. They include a space to write a letter to your pet which I didn't think I'd do, but it actually ended up being a really important part of my grieving process.
