It’s powerful for the size, don’t let it fool you!
Bernadette✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 15, 2023
It's so small and so freaking cute! It's like the dryer version of an easy bake oven! LMAO Don't let the small size fool you though, it works like a normal sized dryer. I have mine on a table so it's about chest level so I don't have to bend down. It comes with everything you need, and if you don't mount it on the wall it's super simple. (Don't mount it on the wall, it looks like a bunch of work, just sit it on something) i just took it out the box, connected the plastic tube to the foil dryer tube in the house (took a little rigging because the dryer's plastic tube is smaller and the ring around it is too small for the foil tube) I ripped the foil tube trying to get the ring on. The ring is only probably halfway on but it's doing the job, you could probably tape it or buy a part but it's not necessary. I plugged it in and used it. I spent the most time rigging the tubes so they won't slide out. All together 10-15 min? It did come with a huge dent in the top but it doesn't seem to be affecting anything so I let it be because I didn't want the hassle. It takes a normal small round sized laundry basket that is NOT HEAPING. I think my clothes were still a little wrinkled because I put too much in. My basket heaped a little and while there was a little room for movement in the dryer it was pretty cramped full. They were nice and dry but not completely wrinkle free. The clothes weren't super wrinkly like I slept in them or anything but could use a run over with the iron. As long as you don't overfill they will be wrinkle free. Too full: I put probably 4-5 t shirts, maybe 2 pairs of scrub pants, like 2-3 pairs of leggings, 2-3 pairs of non denim shorts, and a bunch of panties and socks, and probably something I'm forgetting in there and it dried. (again not wrinkle free, so put in less unless you want to iron). The basket in the picture is what I believe to be the perfect amount. It's about half a dryer full. It gives them room to freely tumble to dry quickly and wrinkle free. You could definitely put more in to test your limit, I did lol. It's super quiet! I'm impressed! I'm amso happy I bought it! It does exactly what I need it to. I've had it for a couple weeks now. I guess I have to just see how it stands up to normal use.
4 consecutive loads, no issues so far.

Pretty easy set-up. It came well packaged in identifiable boxes (plural). It was secured well inside 1 box then secured inside a second bigger box. I already had a 4" dryer vent to the outside installed in my space - which is a bit larger then the 3-3.5" plastic they provide. I didn't use their plastic vent because of reviews I've read of them melting - plus it's not recommended in the USA. I *did* use the hose clamp that it came with though. I clamped the 4" ALUMINUM hose to the plastic elbow provided easy peasy. You can also also buy better hose clamps @ a hardware store for cheap. The one it came with was def cheap lol, BUT functional.
I've only done 4 loads - consecutive - and it worked as it should. I fit about 50-75% of a full size load - it took about an hour/load. It didn't overheat + plugged into the same circuit as a Panda Washer running simultaneous.
My usual laundromat trip is 2 loads with a full hamper; this got the job done in about 3.3 loads.

I live in an urban row house with an awkward layout/stairs. Though hookups exist for full size appliances - it is next to impossible to maneuver them to the designated hookups: down narrow, steep basement stairs 12" wide. Living alone, this will suffice quite nicely. A family of 3+ might find themselves doing at least 1 load every day.

If you have young children or mischievous cats, there is a lock function on the control panel. The dryer actually makes some cute noises when you press the buttons, and will generate interest for sure. I'll update this review IF things go awry. If I don't - consider this my final verdict. 5 stars.
Small but decent

As long as you realize the limitations of this Panda dryer, this thing is great.

Overall size is really small, close to a 2 foot cube, and weight is something like 55 pounds. It operates on a normal 110-120v circuit instead of 220-240 like other electric dryers. This is great for wiring it up, but does slow down the heat output, so expect a longer drying time compared to a full sized dryer.

Along those same lines, max load size is rather small, and you're better off running comforters to a laundromat than trying to cram them in.

Hooking the exhaust hose up is easy, and the design lets you integrate with any preinstalled ducting easily, despite the plastic construction. Biggest real difference between this Panda and a more conventional dryer is the filters, there's a big one at the back, inside the tumble drum, and a small one at the front. It's a bit of a pain, but seems to work ok, and is easy enough to clean.

Setup has two options, either a set of adjustable feet, or a wall mount, with the provided hardware. Bit of warning if you have the feet on, and have the dryer on a table, the door latches rather tightly and needs some good force to open, you may need to brace the top of the machine with a hand while opening the door.

This dryer is great for a few scenarios: It is great for renters wanting to save over the long run instead of using a laundromat, RVers wanting something small and portable. It's also decent for budget minded people swapping from a Natural Gas dryer and don't have a 220v hookup, and are ok with smaller loads of laundry. I'll update if anything changes, but initial impressions are favorable.
Excellent Dryer

This Dryer is a great Dryer for anyone who has a camper or lives in a small apartment that they do not allow washer or dryers. It work excellent. I highly suggest that you vent out of the window.. Make a small hole out of your screen or leave the door open out of your camper. Its great on towels etc...You will not be able to dry out a comforter since its to big on a 2.65. However, I'm able to dry my queen size sheets etc..... I purchased the Square Trade Insurance thats affiliated with ALLSTATE Company for the minimal amount of $60.43. It has a zero ($0) deductible and they fix or replace your dryer or give you back your purchased amount that you paid out on your dryer. Highly Recommend. The dry is very well constructed. Its small an compact. It has a sensor with a chime that lets you know when your clothes is dried completely. Also, you can just set it to dry hot and keep checking on your clothes if you dont want the sensor on and set on manual. I found that the clothes dries fast after each load is dried to clean the filter. I use a small brush and brush out all lint. You can get several dries out of one lint filter. I have dried so far 35 loads on one filter. If you are gentle on brushing filter you will get several uses out of the filter. I purchased on Amazon a stack of filters to have on hand once the filter looses its shape or gets a hole. This dryer is a great dryer for the person who has a traveling camper, or a person who Does not have space. Overall I give it two thumbs up. Lastly, the shipper was fast. Forgot to mention very well packaged. it was packaged with sterofoam with card bord on all four corners put in a hard box and put in a second hard box. came in with out a dent or scratch.

This is a Panda Dryer and I also recommend the Large portable Panda washer with the pump. All works great!!!!!!
Happy and excited to do laundry🤣

So I received this dryer two days ago. So far it's been great. I opened it up and no problems or dents. It is much quieter than the last compact dryer I had which was a weird brand I forgot what it was. Something that started with a "S" but it was LOUD and it died after 8 months. I hope this one last longer. I will definitely update if it doesn't last or any of my opinions change. This dryer sounds like any normal size dryer which is so much better. To me it dries quickly unless it's like thicker jeans or sweaters. Typically things dry in 45 mins which is how long it takes to wash a load for me. The dryer will run longer tho if I don't stop it but not too much longer. The auto option which I think is the sensory detection of moisture in the clothes does get my clothes all the way dry. I've seen on here where people have said it didn't work for them. If the door opens the dryer stops so I love that too about it. The last dry would keep running. I also like how the dryer will stop and turn the other way for about a minute or so to untwist the clothes and keep them from bunching up just spinning one way. I have dried two bigger blankets and it did take them like an hour and 10-20 minutes I wasn't really counting but I know it was around there. One I took out before it was dry and let it finish drying by the air. But it didn't take long. I should have took it out and put it back to rearrange it. It was basically ready to go out the box. I don't think I have any complaints at this point. I've done like 10 loads of laundry in two days since they are smaller appliances. But it beats hang drying my clothes like I had been for a few months and all around beats the laundromat for sure 100%. All in all I spent like $600 on a compact washer and dryer. Plus like $50 on other supplies like a shelf and hose ect to make my set up work for me. But I have a family of 6 and at the laundromat we would spend $80-$120 a month on washing. All depending how time of year and how many times blankets needed washed.
