Just make sure you store this adaptor near the multimeter. The multimeter needs to be at the same temperature as the adaptor so that it can compensate for the voltage at the copper to TC junction with it's internal sensor

I needed to adapt a regular K-type thermocouple plug to fit my Fluke 87V multimeter, so I bought this, believing that Klein makes high-quality products, at least years ago they did. Their quality has degraded over the years, and this is no exception. The female connector was loose and intermittent. I pried it apart and tried to bend the contacts to be somewhat tight, but they had zero "springiness". Speaking of springs, if you want quality, spring for the Fluke. I did and I don't regret it, although the price is several times more than this piece of cheap garbage.

Must needed product if using any type K plugs with no type K ports. Perfect for my multimeter that needed to plug a type K thermocouple into. Most meters will come with one but if not, this product is the way to go. Material is pretty durable plastic and fits into my meter tight. Obviously can break like any product so take care of it and it will last!
