If you have a big dog, there are better choices

I really like this. However, it's not a true barrier. My dog weighs 40 lbs and she can simly jump to the console and lift her front paws over it. And she had a couple of times. She got a wee bit tangled but was easily able to untangle herself and the barrier stayed in place throughout. So if you want a true barrier and or you have a big dog there are better choices.
Too small for a pickup

Needs to be about 6 inches wider to work properly in a full size pickup truck. That being said, it works great in my fiancé's jeep Renegade since we have repurposed it for her car. Good product for smaller cars.
Jack can't take over driving now.

This does the job well, to keep Jack [our 184# Irish Wolfhound from trying to take over the drivers seat. I'd originally wondered if such a small barrier would do the trick but is does. So just his big head comes up front now.
This thing is a lifesaver!

This product is amazing! I was not given the item free to review so this is a legit review. Our 8 month old bulldog/pit puppy was constantly trying to come
Up front and it was distracting. I put this on and he hasn't tried to do it since. It's very sturdy and has a pocket for his toys! I love that he can see through it!

Its doing its job for the most part, but still not stopping my girl from bull rushing me out the door when I go to get out... We are working on training to stop her from doing this (she's a 70lb pitty) Tried an actual gate type, and she pushed right thru it, so at least, its keeping her in the back while I drive.
