I avoid plastic! This is a good quality oil and I love to use it! When you go thru as much oil as I do, you need to keep extra on hand. 2 gallons in the pantry sounds about right. Always great to have on hand. While I like to use grape seed oil for high heat, this is my everything else oil!!

I only give this a 4 star because the taste is kind of sharp. It's not smooth, but has a bite to it. I thought it was maybe rancid at first, but I think it's just the way it is. It's an everyday oil, though, so... I cooked with it and it did fine. Other than that it seems to be quite a bit different than others of lesser quality. The price is a couple of dollars higher on Amazon than in Publix. But it's Prime so that is to be expected.

I've never been a fan of bold flavored olive oils, but this one has really grown on me! I started taking it for health reasons and I can't report a significant difference there, but I've learned to love the fresh taste of it. I take a tablespoon once or twice a day and it's so fresh that it has a little zing to it. And it's very nice on a good salad. It's a little pricey but good olive oils are not cheap, so I think it's a good value besides being tasty.
