he got one that you need to twist to open and he used the tools they work great. and made it easier for him

husband use to work as a jeweler and they would change watch baterries he left that job and now works as a electrition in ahier position and he always is bringing coworkers watches to change the patery he normally got the simple ones to open but i asumed he would need one were he needs tools so i order this and it came just in time. he got one that you need to twist to open and he used the tools they work great. and made it easier for him

The description did not specify that the blue tool would work only with watches with notches in the back. If I had more knowledge, maybe I would have chosen a different tool. Of the 50 watches I had to change batteries on, there was only one with the notches, so I guess that it is not all that common. I ended up using the long-handled tool and got many of the backs off but after about 40 watches and one blister on my finger, the tool became dull so there some backs that I could not remove.

Worked well. The mini-vice is very good at holding the watch body securely while attempting to remove/replace the watch back. The adjustable tool could be a tad bit tighter, but, it works better than a flat blade screwdriver. Definitely recommend.

I was a bit disappointed in this product. We were able to open the backs of four watches but couldn't do the others. There were no instructions. I had high hopes but was a bit disappointed.
