Not very versatile

It fits the size mini PC it is designed to fit, but it is limited in how it would attach to a monitor. It has only upper holes for 75 and 100 mm VESA -- there are no lower holes. There are also two holes spaced for a spec smaller than 75mm, and center hole. If it had all four holes for 75 mm VESA, the bottom holes could be used mount it higher on the back of the monitor.
Technically, VESA is a four-hole standard, so this HIDEit's claim to be VESA is less than accurate. They are 75 and 100 mm holes, but only half of a full VESA configuration.
As it is, with an LC 29" wide view monitor, the bottom of the mount interferes with the DisplayPort, power and audio-in ports. As other reviewers suggest, it could probably be affixed with mounting tape but I might try another solution before I tape it to the monitor.
Another issue is that the countersunk screws provided do not fit the holes in the mount very well. Tightened all the way, with the two screws available, the mount is still loose.

Such an easy solution to such a big problem. I used a power bridge system to conceal the wires from the TV to the outlet for a really clean look. My problem was how to connect a cable box while maintaining that clean look. I didn't want to install a wall mounted shelf because I'd have a cord showing between the TV and the shelf. I had 2 options. #1. Buy a TV console to put on the ground, just to house this and conceal the wires through the power bridge, or buy this device here and mount it behind the TV. This was so quick, easy, and inexpensive, and now I've got cable with a really clean look.

Great holder. Works simply and quick. However, l didn't use the screws and dry wall anchors that came with the product since I attached the product to the back of my TV in the air venting grills so I used SMALLER screws I had in my took boxes. I didn't want the screws to touch the back of the TV's LED screen. See pics.
I will purchase another HideIt mount for the TV in my family room and purchase 1.5 ft HDMI cables to shorten all the cables I have in the back of the TV.

Great quality product. Easy to mount and adjust for width of device you are hiding. I was able to place my blu-ray device in it securely with no problems. You can make the fit a bit more snug and easy on your device with some well placed felt furniture pads or similar. I used a heavier duty wall anchor since we are taking DVDs in and out. Great, simple product that is worth the price. I combined this with an extending bracket for my 55 in. LED TV. Should have done it sooner.

This is a very high quality product offering good durability and rigidity. I used it to suspend a Uverse Gateway - which was a little thinner than the narrowest opening of this bracket. So, I used some single sided 1/4 inch cushion tape to take up space and it provided a really snug fit. I needed something right away so I paid the premium price for this. For a visible location like a living room or tv room, this is the product to use. For a basement installation like I had, I could and should of just used a couple of inexpensive metal bookends that I could of fabricated to do the same thing - in a basement no one really cares about ugly. But that aside, this is a nice product and I recommend it.
