I know you shouldn't expect much given the price, but it is so cheaply made that it can't be mounted without breaking.

Nice item, my problem is the tiny Allen screws that tighten it to my gun scratched it horribly. Already removed it and put it in my spare parts box.

Mounted it on a Springfield XD 9mm 5". Mount went on perfect. Sighted it in with a muzzle laser that I mod for 9mm. The long one that goes into the barrel from the front .. (got that for my Savage 270).Took to range second shot was a dead on bullseye and stayed on the paper for a full clip... first time since I got the gun. Not that good a shot and new to shooting but this and the red dot sights put me on paper and nay a hiccup from the new red dot or the mount.. I love it... the mount is well made same stuff my gun is made of. Zero stayed true for 4 clips. Easy of to clean gun. I use tiny "O" ring to stuff down into the screw hole to add for vibration and when it is time to pull off the mount to clean gun, the rubber acts like little rollers and the mount slides of nice. going to order another for my compact 9.. this one will have to be mod to get both screw holes on the slide area... easy job with a dremel. I am very happy with my investment of $30 for both the RD and the mount. I can get 10 of these for one $270 RD. I did notice the RD lens retainer was not mounted properly.. I expected something like that so I use a tooth pick and E6000. First I tact it will some 5 sec fix that has a needle point applcn and then the 6k. cover the lens with some sran-wrap. .. if needed. Safe shooting.. Its your RIGHT!
