Miracle shirt!

I have been embarrassed by excessive sweating and sweat stains for YEARS. In high school, I would dry my shirts under hand dryers in the bathroom and started wearing black or navy as a way to solve the problem. Prescription anti-perspirants worked but the jury is out if they are harmful. So I read reviews for this shirt and was like ok why not? I have tried almost everything short of laser treatments.
First day wearing the shirt: walking to the metro on a hot humid day, which would result in huge sweat stains on any other day. I boarded the train and looked down at my under arms and was absolutely shocked to see no sweat stain. Got to work and sat through a stressful meeting and looked down to see NOTHING. What?!?!? I was thrilled. I got home and my dress shirt was still sweat stain free. I promptly bought 7 more directly from Thompson tee's website.
These shirts do not feel wet while wearing, but they take a while to dry if you hang dry after washing.

Hyperhidrosis is lame. Especially for teens. There aren't many products out there that actually help. I started getting the men's version of these for my husband. They were phenomenal! I got these ones for my 13yo daughter (5, in different colors, necklines). They do help absorb sweat quite a bit. But she does still sweat through more often than not. These don't seem to have as much absorbable padding as the men's do (these have much shorter sleeves than the men's, I'm sure that's part of the reason for that). Overall, these do help absorb the sweat. They fit true to size (they are meant to fit snug). Under a uniform polo shirt, these look like a regular undershirt. Even with my daughter sweating thru, it's a whole lot less than how her polo would look without one of these on. They are a little pricey, but it's worth it for her.

I've had hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember. At 27 I still sweat through every piece of clothing I wear, even my black polos at work. I wear a Thompson Tee everyday now and I haven't had to worry about about my underarms for the first time since I was young. I ended up ordering 3 more of these so I can have more throughout the week! Couldnt recommend this shirt enough. The only issue with this shirt is the padding can be a little too thick, but if you try not to think about it you get used to it. Otherwise, I've never loved or trusted a black shirt more than I do this one!
A little bulky in spots

This is a great concept. The overal material of the shirt is soft and comfortable and a perfect material for an undershirt.
My main issue is that the sweat pads themselves are very thick and bulky. It kind of feels like having a thick maxi pad under your arms. Because the surface area of the padding is so large, as well as thick, you can't really wear it under thin or sheer tops because you can see the bulk/lines of the padding. I wore it under a medium weight sweater and it did the job well, and I got used to the feeling of the shirt after a few hours.

Works well in preventing sweat stains on your tops. I suffer from HH and can wear basically anything without worrying about patches. I however don't really like the fact that the sweat accumulates in your underarms and makes you feel clammy all day. Sometimes I just prefer to wear black and not go through this. Also, after a few times using it (even if I wash after every use), because of the bacterias coming from sweat, it starts to smell funny. Having worn my TTs enough to know if they are gonna last long with this funny smell. These are way too expensive to be worn only a few times, so hopefully that won't be the case.
Finally, I don't really know how this works but despite the fact that you can't see the sweat stains on the outer fabric, the region gets so humid with the accumulation of sweat (if you have HH) that it is kind of wet nonetheless. I once wore a blazer with a silk lining on top of my button-up shirt (on top of the TT), and the silk was mildly wet even though the cotton button-up wasn't. So I guess it's not 100% effective.
Overall, helps, but I find it uncomfortable and am waiting to see if they get smelly over time. If that is the case, this will be a deal-breaker.
