I have had 10 embedded ticks in the past 3 years. I wear my Lymeez ALL YEAR ROUND as I find ticks just as prevalent in the winter as the summer. It says on for long walks but tends to fall off in heavy brush. Thankfully I realized the one feel off not to long after it did so I was able to find it. The other didn't fall off but was coming off so I keep having to fix them. If your hiking a long time they will stay on but if your in heavy brush you'll need to check them. Also if you spry your pants with insect repellent before wearing theses let them dry. My pants have small black spots from putting the gaiters on when they were wet.
If you have ticks in your area, you need these.

Easy to put on and take off. Washable, lightweight and comfortable. My only concern is that they cannot tuck into the boot top to prevent the little ticks from hanging out on your ankle or boot top. a short extension of the fabric could be made to tuck into the boot top or ankle area. A great item when we are out working on our local wildlife refuge removing invasive plants.
