Get them - they WORK.
K. V. Houten✓ Verified Purchase•August 28, 2023
I bought these on the recommendation of a wildlife biologist, and man, are they worth the money. I'm in Maine, pretty much the tick capital of the world. The first time I wore them, 2 dead ticks fell out when I took them off. The other day, I thought, maybe the ticks aren't so bad, and didn't wear the gaiters. I tucked my pants inside my socks, and wore mid-calf rubber boots. I had 4 ticks on my pants legs (inside the boots) when I came in. I tell you, these work great.
They are thin, but can get a little hot. Not too bad, and they dry quickly. I always wear them when I'm working on my land now.

Nice Gaiters!

These leg gaiters are very comfortable, and easy to use. So far, I have found not a single tick after wearing them. My only (minor) complaint is that the velcro "hook" strip attaches directly to the outer material of the gaiter, making the closure light (unlike the standard velcro "hook & loop", which holds on for dear life), and is prone to loosening, especially if it is brushed against something while foraging. Still a great idea, and not uncomfortable in warm weather. Much easier to keep clean than traditional gaiters that have a strap which goes under the arch at the bottom of your footwear, and can get muddy very quickly.
Impressed. Stayed in place 8 miles.

These impressed me. I often go out camping or hiking and at times venture into areas that may have ticks. I saw these and they may be an option compared to gaiters as they claim to repel ticks. I can't speak for that for certain but I ventured 8 miles and didn't bring any "guests" back. The picture is after the hike. What impressed me is they stayed on with no adjustments or fidgeting on the hike. When I first put them on I was skeptical and figured the velcro would certainly give way but...they stayed as I put them. 8 miles, up and down hills, through brush and on a hot hot day. Good item on my first time out with them.
Great for tick repulsion

This is a good product but the velcro doesn't hold well and it slips down.
keeps the ticks off you!

These gaiters are easy to put on, and keep the ticks from crawling up your legs!
I love them, and I now don them each time i venture into the woods.
