The carpet on my stairs and other high traffic areas had become matted flat. I raked then used the a vacuum. It pulled more dirt than before the rake. Carper looks nee again even before the shampoo. The bristles are stiff and heavy. I didn't but a really heavy amount of pressure on the handle because I didn't want it to bend or break but I don't think it feels flimsy either. It took some time and effort but worth it to me because the carpet looks & feels professionally cleaned.

First, I'm not a paid buyer. Just a person who needed help getting the fluff back into the carpet in my apartment.
As we all know, apartment carpet is literally the WORST carpet ever. Cheap and flattens quickly. After nearly 5 years this carpet still looks clean and beautiful, but it's obvious where we walk. So when I got this product I was pretty sure I was going to be disappointed. There was no way a carpet rake was going to bring this cheap carpet back to life, right? WRONG. It not only fluffed those high traffic areas, but after those areas stayed fluffed after walking on them! It's not perfect, but it's certainly better than it was. And my kiddo now obsessed with "brushing" the carpet! So win win- the kid helps and I get my fluffy carpet back!
*side note- I use this before I vacuum to loosen up the stuff in the carpet. Then I vacuum, rake again, and vacuum a second time. It helps get really deep into the carpet to pull all of the dirt and crumbs up that have been somewhat trampled in.
