After getting a Sound Bar, I lost the use of my old Subwoofer (RCA Inputs). The Splitter is solid comes no extra power is needed. I use it to split the signal coming from my TV and with help of the splitter I send one side to the sound bar, and the other to the DAC Converter into my Subwoofer.
So it works as a 1 input ===> 2 outputs.
Will most definitely buy again if need be and I would recommend to anyone in need of a good Fiber Optic Splitter.

I bought this to work with my 82" Samsung TV and (don't laugh) my TV Ears because my new TV doesn't have any analog connections to it. So I was limited to what connections would work with my TV Ears (yes, I know I could use Bluetooth headphones, but I needed a more "old school" approach so my wife and I could watch TV while the baby was asleep). Luckily TV Ears also has an optical cable connection, so I took a chance on this splitter, knowing full well that these types of things work well in theory but in reality are almost always a little wonky and/or problematic. Well, this worked like a charm with no hassles whatsoever! The sound goes to both the TV's soundbar and both headsets of the TV Ears simultaneously and flawlessly, which made my life just a little bit easier. Product is highly recommended!!! A+++!!!
