I use this a bag for a 'standard sized' yoga mat, but it has enough room to handle either an extra long or thicker mat. The canvas fabric has a good feel. I like the full length zipper which makes it easy to put in or take out the mat. The inside of the bag is lined with a smooth black nylon fabric which I didn't expect . . . especially for the price. I also like the two zippered pockets that can hold my phone, keys, etc.

This bag is very good quality and I love it. Be aware if you have a larger mat that heavy/tacky it is a learning curve and work to get the mat in the bag. The lining is completely loose/unseamed and you will struggles to get it around mat properly zip. It's just an annoyance and a lot of bags are designed the same way. Some mats will go in very easily and this will all be a non issue.
