This raises my toilet just the right amount so that I can more easily get off the toilet without causing my knees to hurt. I like that it doesn't interfere with the seat, it is not like the risers that you add onto the top of the toilet that can cause urine to leak out.
I had a plumber install this in both bathrooms so I don't know how easy it is to install but it didn't take him long to do the work, everything was included in the packaging.

Before you start the installation go to the hardware store and purchase:
1. New flange and screws
2. THICK bees wax ring.
My flange was cracked so I had to go get a new one.
Got everything mounted and setting the toilet on top of the
riser found that the furnished bees wax did not seal to my toilet.
Went and purchased a THICK bees wax and completed the installation.
So, go to the local hardware and purchase those two components.
If you don't need them you can always return them.
However, if you do need them, you'll be able to complete the installation
in a minimal amount of toilet down time for the family!!
You'll be a HERO!!

family recently moved into manufactured home with very short toilets big problem for disabled / elderly this is by far better than the alternative of toilet seat risers (annoying) and after installed in 1 bathroom decided to order for other one also good investment, bit of advice hehe before open the was seals be sure to put it together to know which holes to use (or might end up having to order new wax seal(s) cause used wrong holes otherwise easy install .
