I bought this vest strictly because it had so many pockets that zip shut or Velcro shut. There are five pockets that are closable on each side of the front of the vest on the outside. It also has a deep pocket for your hand on each side. There are two zip pockets on each side of the inside of the vest. The pockets range in size so that you can carry almost anything in them. I have carried my iPad and two or three bottles of pop to move from one jobsite to another. It is unbelievable how sturdy everything is and all of this for such a low price. I bought my first vest two months ago and have been using it daily ever since and have washed it several times. After having the first one for only one day I was so impressed that I bought two more. I use the vest in work situations and it has not let me down once. The zippers seem to be holding up fine as well as the Velcro. I keep waiting for it to fall apart because it was such a reasonable price but, everything seems to be holding up good even though I've washed it three or four times already. I bought a similar vest from that pocket vest company and it was a much lighter weight and was like $75.

I bought this for my elderly mom. Not for fishing, but so she can carry all her little things like her vicks, tissue, and other small things and her phone, in the pockets while shes outside gardening. She LOVES it! I need to buy her another one in a different color. 😃

WOMEN... Add at least 6 inches to your body measurements (chest specifically), then go from there for comparison to size chart based on how you want it to fit. The measurements for the size chart are for the garment and do not correlate to your body measurements or shape. I'm a curvy woman (5'3", 180lbs) with DD to DDD breast. I wear a L to XL in normal women fitted clothes. Got a Large and luckily it fits as desired for look and feel I was going for.

Can't speak on the quality and longevity because I just got it. Will try to remember to update my review after time wearing.

If there is a question about size, order the next size up. Other than that it seems well made with plenty of pockets.

Sewed very good. Comfortable fit...lots of zipper pockets.....will buy again
