This is well made and looks great. It is inexpensive given the overall quality of fabric and manufacture. The main compartment against your back does exactly what it should. I took this on a recent trip and used it as my carry-on under the seat. I checked my larger bag, and this held everything I could use on a plane ride: iPad, scarf, ear buds, chargers, a book, a water bottle, phone, eyeshades, etc.

Note: do be careful WHAT you put WHERE. This is well-made, but you can damage it by poor placement of sharp things! After the 1st plane ride, I found a small rip to the lining at the base of one of the two front zippered pockets, where I had stored some chargers with sharp plug ends. That rip was not the fault of the manufacturer, it was mine for jamming in a bunch of sharp things to a small pocket! On my flight back, I swapped where I put things, taking out all sharp items from the front side pockets. If I had an upgrade to suggest, I'd use a more durable rip-stop kind of lining to those front hidden pockets, maybe with reinforcements to where it fastens at the base of the pocket -- it is tempting to jam in a lot of stuff.

Very happy with this minimalist and practical bag.

I bought this backpack for my trip to NYC. It is very spacious, was comfortable in the 85° heat and carried my supplies and big water bottle comfortably. I love that the zipper opens at my back so I felt safe with my stuff in it. Also it has a strap to carry it as a purse! It's easy to clean and looks classy.
I have used it since for weekend get a ways. It holds a lot of stuff for a little backpack. Such a great purchase!

Got tired of crossbody purse hurting my neck (yes I carry too much stuff...), so tried this out as a backpack purse. Love it. I found a purse-type felt organizer insert for small backpacks that works with it and keeps everything organized and secure. I added a ring and clip inside under the top that I clip my keys onto as I don't like them outside the bag. The only entry is a zipper open that fits against my back, a nice security feature. I definitely prefer a backpack purse now and won't consider a crossbody again unless I know I won't need to carry all my usual stuff.

I felt secure in high pickpocket areas of the Mediterranean because the access zipper is against the body. But, it is also inconvenient to get to your phone or wallet. I got the gray color and I am happy with the flexibility of using this either as a backpack or a crossbody. My only real complaint is the water bottle slot is narrow and short. Only smaller bottles fit.
I could jam my short trench coat in with my sunglasses, wallet, sunscreen, snack and phone. It looked like a sausage but it worked. I recommend it knowing the water bottle slot is smaller.

Looks nice, nice quality. Zippers work nicely. The only thing I don't like is the zippered part is on the back of the bag which makes it hard to get into. I understand it might be that way so it can't be opened by a pick pocket while you're wearing it but I'm never really out around lots of people.
