I recently tried this and overall, I had a pretty good experience with it. The color came out vibrant and looked great in the weeks following my initial application. However, I did notice that the color started to fade relatively quickly and by the end of the month, it wasn't as bright as I had hoped. Overall, I still think it was a decent product but if you're looking for something that will last a long time, this might not be the best option.

If you experience intense burning or itching on your scalp from regular drugstore or salon products, this may be the answer. I am lucky enough that my stylist will apply this professionally in the salon. But even if you do it yourself its a good vegan alternative. I liked this brand ever since someone recommended it to me. I've continued to use this for a couple of years now. I don't think I'll be trying other brands. The only bad thing I can think of for this hair dye is that it doesn't seem to last long. It must be my hair though because it turns "silver"/ white too fast. It's okay. I like to have to change my hair color once in a while... sometimes. Heh. Scent isn't strong at all and it is quite nice. It doesn't stain when I'm waiting for the magic to happen. I'm very happy with this hair dye. Thank you!!!

Although not recommended for as much gray as I have, I much rather use this gentle formula rather than the harsher products that contain ammonia. The trade off is that the color does fade faster.
