ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
J. Saunders✓ Verified Purchase•March 4, 2018
GARBAGE - Great concept, terrible delivery.
CONS: There were several issues with the kit I received.
1 - First, right out of the box the instructions are in poorly broken EngRish. It was easy enough to figure out but if you're going to butcher the instructions don't even bother sending them.
2 - Second, the scope adapter rings that they send didn't tighten all the way on the scope, so the mount was unstable. I was able to stack the rings together to make it work but it still moved around more than I wanted it too.
3 - That would've been ok if it would actually work at night, sadly it does a poor job. That brings me to number three, poor night performance. Since the only reason to buy something like this is to use it at night you would kind of expect it to work at night, right? Well, the truth is its only good for about 10 yards in front of you, anything farther than that forget it. The way they have the IR light setup in the pictures will not work. If you mount the light on your scope the IR washout from the flashlight creates a glow in the scope that is so bright you can't see the redacle. The only way to get it to work is to mount the light somewhere else. Even then, the range is pathetic... maybe 50 yards..maybe. I even tried a brighter IR spot light that I bought somewhere else.. it was better buy still pretty terrible.
4 - Camera malfunctions? The camera itself had issues with cutting in and out (which I wash eventually able to eliminate with all new batteries, also reminds me to mention batteries) and after a shot the screen would get significantly dimmer and never return to normal with out removing the batteries. I was shooting this on an air rifle too so its not like the recoil was so severe that it over-rated the camera parts. So between not being able to see through the scope from the washout and trying to focus a dimly lit it was a constant chore just trying to see through the scope enough to focus.
5 - The batteries - it takes 18650's, not included. I must have completely spaced this since I though it would take regular AA's.. it doesn't. You'll need to grab a set of rechargable 18650's but I caution you.. not all of them are the same. I had several different brands laying around and not all of them fit into this batter fixture.
PROS -
1. works well at short distances.
2. adjustable camera focus - i was surprised to learn that the camera was adjustable. I was able to focus on the target or the redicle based on the camera focus.
3... sorry thats all, I'll be sending this back.

First off mind blown kaboom. This little night vision camera has got to be one of the best night vision cameras I have ever been privileged to use. Me and my friend go rat hunting at local ranches at night for fun. The nights are very eventful and the Ranchers absolutely love the idea of free Pest Control LOL. He has a nice high-dollar night vision scope. I used to use a red light at night for hunting till I bought this system. And man am I glad I did the picture on The View screen is very sharp and crisp the picture of the Rat does not do this camera Justice it is much more detailed and sharp. fits nicely around my scope and on my rifle. Before too long I noticed my partner was using my scope and rifle more than his own. Very impressed with this setup. I wish I had found this system a long time ago. Very well worth the money. Two downfalls sadly though the very small on and off switch on the battery pack can sometimes be a pain to find in the dark. And the battery system. Very very very much wish they made it run off of Duracell double A instead of the 9900 mAh 3.7 V Li- i o n battery. If you don't have it... it will not work. Trust me as a man I had the mentality it would work without them because I said it would. It doesn't I had to order them. They last a while but not long enough when you keep the screen on long-term. But if you're using it to hunt rats like we are easy solution get a handful of leaves and put them where they frequent most AKA under the feeders and as soon as you hear the leaves rustling turn the set up on.By using it this way I can get two full nights of hunting before I have to recharge the batteries.

Scope works amazing, day and night. In the woods its useless as brush and limbs throw back to much glare and you cannot see beyond it. But in a field you can see easily for 150yards with the ir light it comes with. MAKE SURE YOU BUY BATTERIES. I knew it didnt come with batteries but it didnt list what kind it took. I assumed AA I was wrong. It takes an odd 3.9volt. Locally they were $10 each so buy them with the scope on amazon. They are supppse to be the same batteries that ecigs use. So if you have an e cig store you can most likely buy them there.
Only reason for 4 stars is the screen isnt dimmable. It has a brightness setting but it only adjust the brightness of the image and not the backlighting of the screen.
For the money this scope is alot of fun and works very well. A little hard to figure out how to setup. Mounting the camera to the scope. But once you figure it out you can swap from gun to gun easily. Its on a .17hmr in the first pic and a remington 700 30-06 in the second.

at first i would just play with it around the house. first i took it out i used it to observe people at 267 yards at night in a city. then took it out to the country no light of any kind with a better flashlight used it to observe a range flag at 350 yards . still not sure how it will hold up but about 20 rounds thru it works great so far. i like playing with this better then my night vision scopes and monocular, might get one for my ar platform. also makes a great night sight for driving.
