I have curly hair that i have bleached and color conditioner i think is amazing, not necessarily this product because i have only tried this brand but all i can change the color of my hair after a few shampoos. i didn't even dye my hair and i achieved the desired color from just using this conditioner.

for the curly hair people, you will have to use another conditioner after using this ( remember to use colder water) to pop the curls, this conditioner doesn't feel bad on the hair but it doesn't feel like my hair is at its best after just using this product, granted i bleached my own hair multiple times so if you had it done by a professional you might need just 1 or 2 more products to curl your hair.

I've bought a few different colors over the last year or so (red, copper, merlot, and onyx) and I've found that they work well for what I need them for. I primarily use them between salon visits to help refresh the vibrancy of my salon-dyed color. That being said, they do *not* stick to my natural roots, so I wouldn't recommend them at all for covering roots or coloring hair that hasn't been color treated. Maybe they'll work on natural hair for some people, but for me the product does virtually nothing to my roots and really only sticks to the colored lengths of my hair.

Usage note: I've noticed reviews saying there are no instructions--there *are* instructions, on the backside of the label. You have to peel it back to read them.

This is the way I use it: I wash my hair first with shampoo (might not be necessary but I do it anyway), then I apply it to my wet hair while still in the shower. I'll do all my other shower things and by the time I'm done it will have been 5-ish minutes. I then thoroughly rinse with cool water. This stuff will probably stain your hands/fingernails to some degree, though it's easier to clean off if you're applying it wet. Make sure to rinse until the water runs clear.

I use the copper n red color n it works so much better than anticipated. As anyone w/ red/copper hair knows, IT FADES SO FAST! n after years of destroying my hair dying it myself, I shaved my head n let my natural hair grow out n now I only get my hair done professionally. But it's so expensive n since it fades so fast I was stoked to find this stuff to use in between getting it done. It also makes my hair so soft! I actually mix the red n the copper together n sometimes I put it on my hair when it's dry when I want a more drastic change. But most of the time I just use it as a normal shampoo/conditioner when my hairs already wet. Both methods give me good results. Obviously the dry method is more intense. So if you want just a little color use it when your hair is wet. It also works so fast. I just used this in dry hair last night & let it sit for 10 minutes. It's a little more red than I wanted (over copper) but that's the beauty of this stuff, all I have to do is wash my hair w/ normal shampoo n it will fade. It also works better on previously dyed hair or bleached hair rather than virgin hair. I have to leave it on my root grow up for 2x longer just to get close to the same result as when I use it on my previously dyed/bleached hair. I wish I had before pics. I'll update this after i wash it out n redo the color to show the difference.

When my hair turned silver I wanted to try some temporary colors for fun and found this brand. I bought silver blue first so I could try it but not go too crazy! Loved it and bought blue and purple and teal. Love all of them! I sometimes do my whole head with one color and sometimes I do my bangs blue and the back purple or I do teal and purple or teal and blue. I'm having a lot of fun with it and the colors tend to wash out after four or five Washings but I love the colors so much I keep adding more and I get lots of compliments. I put it on dry hair and I leave it on about 45 minutes before I rinse it out and it gives me several perfect shades. I recommend it highly and I'm going to keep buying it.

I love this product, but I can't stand the pump. It is hit and miss on if you get one that actually works. The recent one I got, none of the tips in the A & Q area worked, so I'm going to have to toss it. Thankfully I've saved one that worked from a couple years ago. Please get a different pump on this. I know I'm not the only one with this issue. The product leaves my hair feeling great. It is worth getting it even with the pump issue but sure wish they would fix it, like they said they were back in '19.
