Not sure what I can put here without it sounding trite... The product arrived fast and was securely packaged, no damage. The atlatl and arrow both seem to be sturdily made, and the atlatl fits comfortably in my hand. Due to living in a city, I haven't had the time to test it yet. But just "loading" it seemed fine. All the angles matched up so there was nothing obviously off about the design.

I do find myself curious about the velcro. I know it's there to hold the arrow in place as you're learning to use it, and looks easy enough to remove if needed, but I'm curious to see how easily it releases when I attempt a throw. I guess I'll find out the next time I can head out to the country and test it out.

We teach outdoor eduction and atlatls are a great tool to help teach a number of lessons. The kits from Carbon Express are quality enough to be used year after year with the abuse kids can dish out. I only wish that that descriptions were more accurate. I was hoping to resupply darts, but now I have 2 additional atlatls.

I wish they didn't advertise an atlatl in the pictures, the arrows are nice but useless without an atlatl. I thought it was included by the pictures but guess it's only when you buy the one arrow kit. Kind of misleading.

Very deceptive in photos of both thrower and darts but I bought the 2 darts and atlatl dart sets and it's very fun at family functions anyone can do it
