These are perfect replacements for a similar magic wand we had that came with a magic kit. That wand was my 5 and 7 year old's favorite item as it was a super easy trick for them to execute. They loved making it appear as if the wand popped out of thin air. As another reviewer mentioned, the illusion is best viewed at a distance. They used the wand so much it was losing it's shape and the black has rubbed off. It's made of plasticky type of paper so this item can break down over time with use. But the great thing about this purchase is it comes as a set of 5. Now my kids can each have their own wand and a backup when it breaks down from use. The item sold is exactly what we were looking for "” a simple and inexpensive trick that creates the illusion of a magic wand appearing out of thin air.
