The player works well. The only issue is the USB-C plug-in. When I plugged the USB-C type into my Macbook Pro, it did not work, but it works when I use the regular USB 3.0. My MacBook doesn't have a USB 3.0 plug-n so I have to use extensions. But overall, it's a good product.

Purchased this drive to replace an old portable LG drive. An upgrade in quality, durability, and convenience. The connecting wire fits my Mac with usb-c and I can also use the older usb connection, they are both on one cable. Very useful. The drive reads and rips CDs fast, which is why I got it. I will update this review once I write a CD/DVD. Until then, solid drive, solid price, useful for those specific times you need a CD/DVD drive.
