I ordered one size bigger based on the reviews I read on skirt but it was too big for me. Now I wish I had gotten one size smaller because the waist is very comfortable and wouldn't have been tight at all. I am 5'3" and the skirt is a bit too long however it can be cut to fit just right or wear heels. The color was as expected, very gorgeous and the material was nice a thickness....overall I loved the skirt but I can't wear it so I gave it to someone else who loves it.

This skirt arrived 2 days ago and I was so looking forward to receiving it. I could tell when I took it out of the bag that is was way to big for me. I usually wear an 18 or 20 in a skirt. I followed the size chart provided and ordered this in a XXXL, it was enormous. The front of the waist is flat and the back is elastic, it was so big that it wouldn't stay up without me holding it, so I had to return it. That said the colors a bold, vibrant and beautiful. The fabric was shiny almost silky and I loved the pockets. It was a little long but I was in my bare feet, I think it will work with a small heel. It is truly a beautiful skirt and I plan to reorder two sizes smaller once my return is processed.

This skirt is gorgeous!!!! It fits beautifully high waisted.
I agree with others that if you buy a size down it will fit perfect if you wear it high waisted. Buy your right size if you don't. Well made skirt buying another for my daughter

firstly, i am so incredibly happy about this purchase! i loveeeee this skirt so much. i'm 5'2/5'3 and i knew this skirt would be LONG, but that's expected with african skirts. i once bought a similar skirt from another vendor in a medium and it did fit, but i'm very glad i ordered the large. i wear a size 10/12 in bottoms, and the large was perfect. i am full from my hips down and getting a medium over my butt is annoying. lol i wear this skirt so much and i love that i can mix it up so differently each time! the only thing about this skirt is the picture makes this color look more brownish. in reality the skirt has more of burgendy and navy in it than brown {as shown in the picture} but either way, i love it 😠besides i have more color combinations to pair this with !!!

100% love this skirt.
The material has a silk like feel to it. Came wrinkle free. The color is actually bright and vibrant.

I got the large.

One of the photos shows a 32 inch measurement around my high waist.

The skirt has an elastic stretchable band around the back half of the waist so it's kind of hard to get a size that fails to fit correctly.
