Rug Grippers That Really Grip & Last!!!!!

I normally do not write reviews but when you run across a product that actually works very well it is worth telling other people about. We have had our first set of grippers installed on a 5' X 8' rug for over a year, yes a year! The pictures show that the corners of our rug are still flat to the floor and have been that way since I installed them over a year ago! The wife vacuums this rug at least twice a week and there has not been any corners turning up or coming loose from the floor. We were concerned if the grippers had done anything to our wood floor being down this long so we pulled the rug up and checked. All of the grippers stayed in place and stuck to the floor. I even pulled up one of the grippers from the floor. Everything was just fine. The wood looked like the gripper had not even been installed. No stains or glue issues left behind. We had only used 6 grippers on our rug, one on each corner and one in the middle of each long side. We cleaned under the rug, replaced only the one gripper I had pulled up for inspection and left all of the other original grippers in place on the floor. You just can't beat the performance these grippers have given us. We purchased more grippers for some other rugs we want to put down on our wood floors and will expect the same great results. I do want to mention that this rug is in a high traffic area out in the middle of the living room. You can't go wrong with this product! It has performed very well for us. Thanks

I have a dog with a torn ACL and he has trouble walking across the ceramic tile kitchen, I bought these to hold some area rugs (runner style) in place so he could walk across them to get to the door to go outside. These work far better than double sided rug tape, they are super easy to use.. and they do come off with no left over residue HOWEVER, I would suggest if you have to take them up off the floor (for cleaning floor or whatever) you keep in mind I don't think based on experience that you could reuse them - maybe you'll be more careful getting them off floor than I was lol.. I 'broke' some of them in half trying to UNstick them from the floor.
They are a semi hard plastic that is sticky on both sides.. so again they do adhere the rug to the floor very well. I had to remove rugs for professional steaming cleaning of grout.. so I just bought replacement rug grippers to put them back down - normal day to day I just use a multi surface vacuum.

We purchased enough rug grippers for two 36" area rugs. One works very well because the walking pattern going into and out of a high traffic area is the same. However when the walking pattern in another high traffic area goes in all directions, the grippers don't work so well. We tried adhering one 36" end to the floor and the other three sides to the rug, but this does not work well. So for one area we are very pleased with the grippers; not so much for the second area, although it's probably just a trouble area that the grippers can't handle. We are still happy we purchased them.

I bought a new 3 x 5 area rug for my kitchen and as is often the case with smaller rugs, the corners would not lay flat. These grippers are a great choice for holding down stubborn, curling rug corners. Installing was a little tricky in that I needed to cut my rug pad back to allow enough room for the grippers, but once I figured that out, I went slow and was able to arrange the grippers to get the best corner placement. Installation was easy, but take your time so that you don't need to re-position the adhesive grippers. I have not had to remove them yet so I can't speak to how well the adhesive will hold up, but it sounds like a little cleaning with alcohol is all that is needed. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Phenomenal! I got these because my elderly dog starting slipping on our hardwood floors, then sliding on the area rugs and runners we put down for her. These are a life saver for all of us in the house! No more tripping over curled corners, no more bunched up, crooked rugs all over, no more excited sliding dog crashing into walks and furniture.
I can exercise on the rug without it sliding out from under me. Love it!
I can also see where these would be super handy for elderly folks and children who trip over everything.
We lint roller the corners of the back of rugs and wiped the floor with glass cleaner (no wax). Everything stuck beautifully! We used 2 in each corner, they fit well together and are clearly labeled which side goes on the back on the rug and which goes in the floor.
It's been about a week now and despite hot, muggy temperatures, the rugs are still sticking to the floor just fine.
