Bought this for an employee at work. He seemed to really like it. I got to handle it a little and it had a good feel to it. It was sharp and well balanced. I've bought a few Kubey knives here recently and they've all seemed to be of good quality. Fantastic knife for the price.

First let me say something about "Knife Horde LLC". I have been carrying a knife for 50 years and have almost 200. I have to say that they may be the most service oriented and responsive group that I have ever bought a knife from. That is a strong statement. The knife world is filled with companies that have a passion for knives but so far, in my experience, Knife Horde stands along side the best.
Now to the knife.
The first thing I noticed was it came in a sealed pouch with a little dryer bag in it. I have never seen this before. Any one who knows D2 steel understands that it is not a stainless steel. This care to seal out moisture sort of confirmed, to me at least, that this is a D2 blade. That's good.
Second, the solid deep rich bark of the blade locking open! Wow! What a statement! This will scare the "poop" out of the "sheep"! I went through many of my other knives looking for something that sounds like this but not even the big ZTs came close! Winnies be advised!
Third, This thing is SHARP!! I mean Really Sharp! (Your millage may vary.)
Fourth, Fit and finish are good. Not perfect but good. The only complaint is the edges of the scales. Just a bit too sharp. I took a piece of 400 emery paper and rounded off a few points. About 5 min. or so.
Fifth, Overall the knife is beefy. It fills the hand and feels solid. The pocket clip works well on rip-stop nylon cargo pants but it is a titanium clip. (I generally prefer stainless clips)
All in all a great knife for the money!

I'm not disposed to giving 5 stars but I am for just for value alone. This knife could sell for two to three times more and it would still be a deal. The high quality G-10, D2 blade steel of decent length, titanium pocket clip that looks nice with the green G-10, ceramic pivot bearings with a nice detent.
If your thinking about it - pull the trigger.
