This was a toss up choice and I took it because I was concerned that the other fore-runner that incorporated a bladder on the back was going to be too hot for this climate especially with the amount of humidity that we were getting. This proved to be the right choice and many different levels. It's fully expandable to cover barrel chested ... lightweight and has the essentials that will get the job done. I thought this thing had water bottle sarrier but no and I find that the back pocket and area is almost useless. I couldn't even fit my raincoat into that back area which would have been perfect. If they Incorporated both a bladder combined with a large stuff pocket similar to a hunter's game stuff area that would be perfect for this outfit. But honestly I'm really pleased with this choice and can't argue with the value. It's cool fits and enables you to scale and move in some of the heavy Rocky terrain to get into those favorites fishing spots. Overall I like it I just wish there were those couple of options mentioned combined with the webbing to keep it cool ... That would take it from being an adequate product to being an outstanding product. Yes for size I'm 5'11 265 with a 51-in chest and this has more than enough room to accommodate me

So this was more of one of those spontaneous purchases that every once in awhile everyone does. My husband wanted something that would provide him comfort and ease of access to the 'essentials' for one of his fishing trips. We contemplated one of those waterproof fishing bags when wouldn't you know it we happened on this little number.

We were skeptical looking at some of the mixed reviews but we figured hey lets take the plunge and give it a go, we kept coming back to it and so we figured why not and boy were we ever pleased that we did.

you talk pockets? this things got em, this thing has more pockets and places to put your stuff that puts batman's utility belt to literal shame. If your fisherman is savvy and knows how to work it he'll know how to work every pocket and strap to make the most of what this things got to offer to. The vest is super lightweight and it's hella durable once it was loaded down with all your fishing goodies my husband easily was able to fling this thing on and off as he needed to and mind you it got pretty heavy with all the stuff he managed to get in there! so that says something ya'll! this thing holds up to the abuse!

It's breathable, we were worried about hubby getting to hot wearing this thing but that wasn't even a problem. Mid day in Florida out on the golf and hubby was perfectly content and pleased.

So ladies and gents you want a good gift for the fisherman in your life ? look no further..it's hard to beat the quality and the price of this thing. Told hubby we ought to get a second one as a backup since you never know when you won't be able to find a gem like this again.

Vest had plenty of room and pockets. Worked great.

Nice vest...well made and holds quite a bit of gear...i like it.

I love this! Originally got it for fly fishing but will use it for any time I'm fishing in general. Yes I get it had many pockets, but honestly I love that. I have my phone, cigs, lighters, glasses all in my inner pockets and the rest I have my power bait, flys, tools, and so forth. I'm digging it, no complaints yet. I'll be buying another one for my brother and another color for myself as well.
